DAY 1: Cluj Napoca
Welcome to Romania!
We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to the hotel. The hotel is situated in the center of Cluj Napoca, a traditional and old town located in the North of Romania.
In the evening, we will have a welcome special dinner, organized by us and we will discuss the details of our great motorcycle tour.
DAY 2: Cluj Napoca – Turda – Teiusi - Tarnaveni
We will visit in the morning the treasure city of Transilvania, Cluj Napoca - a city full of history and uniqueness with ancient architecture and modern buildings.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the largest Vineyard in Transilvania and have a spectacular wine taste of the most famous Jidvei wine, a place where wine has been cultivated for a thousand years. We will be expected with a great traditional food dinner.
DAY 3 : Tarnaveni – Medias – Biertan - Sighisoara – Brasov - Bran
We leave behind the famous wine Vineyard and ride towards Sighisoara, the most beautiful medieval town of Transilvania. We ride with our motorcycles on narrow streets and listen great stories about the place where Prince Vlad the Impaler, known as Count Dracula was born.
We visit the ancient Sighisoara, fortified citadel together with The Clock Tower, The torture room and the Medieval Weapon Collection .We continue our ride with Biertan Citadel church and spend the night in famous Bran city, the city and the castle of the famous Dracula.
DAY 4 : Bran - Brasov – Onesti - Bacau
We start our visit with the Bran Castel, the castle where the myth of Dracula was born and learn about inspired stories, about the well known vampire, Dracula.
We walk thru the labyrinthine cobbled streets of Brasov, one of Europe’s best-preserved cities from the medieval period build in the12th century Saxon period with Gothic architecture and ancient style. We visit the Black Church, whose walls were darkened by the Great Fire of 1689, and admire its collection of Oriental carpets.
DAY 5 : Bacau – Suceava – Manastirea Voronet – Manastirea Humor - Frasin
Today we begin our experience towards cultural monasteries in Moldavia, a region full of history and legends! Step inside Voronet Monastery, the most important building of Stefan the Great, Romanian great leader, with great paintings with biblical and historical characters, royal pews and cloths belonging to the XVI th century! Another great Romanian leader, Alexandru cel Bun builds Humor Monastery which we will include it in our tour, a monastery painted with red specific colors and gothic elements.
DAY 6 : Frasin – Manastirea Moldovita – Pasul Tihuta - Bistrita
Moldavia, a great region that represents the culture and the history of the Romanian people!
The painted Moldovita monastery is build in 1532 by the Petru Rares leader and raises towards a gorgeous landscape, perfect for motor ride ,Pasul Tihuta, located at 1227 altitude, a fairytale land hunted by peasants and mysteries.
DAY 7: Bistrita – Nasaud – Manastirea Barsana – Sapanta - Vadul Izei
We step into another world, another region, with different culture and stories..Maramures region.
We ride with our motorcycles towards the highest monastery build in 1390, Barsana monastery. We talk a walk and admire the 800 graves in the famous Sapanta cemetery called ‘the Merry Cemetery’ known by the bright colored grave crosses painted with scenarios and rhymes from people’s life. Coming from the dacian period which considers death as an important moment of life, the philosophy is based on immortality and celebrates the passing into a better life.
DAY 8: Vadul Izei – Baia Mare – Dej – Cluj Napoca
The last day of our motorcycle tour starts in Vadul Izei where we will have breakfast into a small and picturesque village with Maramures peoples dressed with traditional clothes. The village is well known for its impressive, traditional, wooden gates carved by Gheorghe Borodi, the songs of Maria Trifoi, the melodies played by violinist Gheorghe Covaci Cioata, Tiberiu Utan's poetry and the magnificent drawings of Vasile Kazar.
We continue our motorcycle tour ride to Cluj, where we will offer you an unforgettable good bye dinner and share our thoughts of the perfect ride, full of memories and legends…
DAY 9: Cluj Napoca
Flight home or drive home.
